About Me
As someone who finds inspiration in new places and new experiences. I’ve learned that growth often happens when we step into the unfamiliar—and therapy can feel the same way. My role is to walk alongside you in that process, celebrating your progress and supporting you through the hard moments. My style is gentle, direct, and challenging in a supportive way. I won’t sugarcoat things, but I also won’t push you before you’re ready. You know yourself better than anyone, and together we’ll explore what’s working, what’s hurting, and what needs room to shift. Growth is naturally messy, and that’s welcome here. I work from an IFS-informed (parts work) approach, getting curious about the different “parts” of you—your anxious part, angry part, tired part, protector part, playful part—and learning what each one needs. We build compassion and understanding toward your inner world so these parts don’t have to work so hard or feel so overwhelmed. Because healing isn’t only about talking, I also use somatic (body-based) tools and creative expression. This can include grounding, movement, breathwork, art, writing, or using a punching bag—whatever helps your system communicate and release what it’s holding. We’ll experiment together to find what feels supportive and empowering for you. I’m an eclectic therapist, meaning I blend approaches based on your needs—IFS/parts work, somatic practices, DBT skills, creative expression, and compassion-focused work. If you’re trying therapy again after not feeling understood or helped in the past, this might be a good fit.
My work is grounded in a systems-focused, anti-oppressive lens. I recognize that many struggles aren’t just personal—they’re shaped by the systems around us. I help clients explore how gender expectations, capitalism, patriarchy, and other systems shape self-worth and relationships.
I actively support clients in dismantling the gender binary, challenging norms that limit authenticity, and creating space for identities and experiences that don’t fit within traditional categories. Your identity—however you define it—is respected, affirmed, and centered in our work. I also support individuals and families who want to build healthier communication, including nonviolent communication skills. Above all, I believe in meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll build tools that help you feel more connected, empowered, and supported in your daily life. When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably find me making jewelry, spending time with my dogs, or wandering through nature.
